Daycare description / philosophy

Blessed Angels Child Care is an LNR daycare located in Surrey/Delta Area.

Blessed Angels Child Care's main objective is to provide quality care and guidance to children as they grow and explore. We welcome children ages 3 months to 8 years, needing occasional, part-time, or full-time care. Blessed Angels Child Care ensures parents quality child care in a clean, safe, positive environment where learning, development, and creativity are encouraged.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with specialization in Developmental Psychology and Sociology. I have a lot of experience in child care, both in-home and day care settings. In the last several years, I have worked for various departments of the federal and municipal government that makes me understand and appreciate the importance of safety and security involved in child care. I am a St. John Ambulance certified First Aider - Emergency First Aid: Community Care, and I maintain a high level of Security Clearance/Criminal Record Check through the years.

Blessed Angels Child Care offers age-appropriate daily activities that encourages awareness and exploration in music, arts and crafts, story reading and free writing. Part of our daily activities include fun indoor and outdoor play (as weather permits) that promote good progression of their physical abilities (fine and gross motor skills), creative thinking, resourcefulness, mindfulness, and social skills.

As an essential part of their day care experience, children are encouraged to recognize, learn, and explore the world using their five senses. They will be given opportunities for both independent play and group play.

Blessed Angels Child Care focuses on the importance of observed behaviour and skills which can allow parents and care providers to understand and aid in the child's development. Hence, here at Blessed Angels' we are committed to recording observations showing skills and stages reached that will be provided to the parent(s) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

We recognize that early childhood experiences provide good foundations and school readiness.

We are open from 6am to 7pm Mondays through Fridays, 7am to 8pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and on certain Holidays. Special arrangements for late pick up or very early drop offs can be accommodated, provided it has been discussed prior to drop off date. Before and after school care can also be arranged.
